A Preliminary Investigation is being undertaken for the proposed Stillbay Ring Road and members of the public are invited to register as Interested & Affected Parties (I&APs) and to provide any comment into the process.

Once the Preliminary Investigation has been concluded, Cape EAPrac will facilitate the legally required Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA, Act 107 of 1998).  Anyone registering for the Preliminary Investigation will be included in the EIA process, although further notification and advertisements will be undertaken.

The proposed Ring Road is being investigated in order to alleviate the congestion experienced in Stillbay during peak times and to provide easier access to residential properties on the northern out lying areas of Stillbay.
